Aisha's Journey to Financial Independence

Aisha, a 32-year-old widow and mother of three, lost her husband in 2023. Without a source of income, she struggled to feed her family. When she joined our Women's Skills Training Program, she had never used a sewing machine. Six months later, Aisha graduated with tailoring skills and received a starter kit including a sewing machine, fabric, and basic tools. Today, she runs a successful tailoring business from her home, earning enough to support her family and send her children to school. "I never imagined I could do this," Aisha says. "The training gave me not just skills, but confidence. Now I can provide for my children without depending on anyone." Aisha now mentors other women in her community and has even hired an assistant.
